Camp Photos from June 23
In the evening, there is ping pong and video games to play in the (cool) dorm. Then there
are pictures of us "doing math" this morning. We have done some work with buzzers,
to see who can get the right answer first. We have also done some work with
I-clickers to allow everyone to respond to a question and then to talk about what
kinds of multiple choice answers were given. In between the two morning sessions, the campers
played soccer, before the heat was too unbearable.
In the afternoon of June 23, Dr. Hopkins tried some juggling. It is just a repetitive pattern
which when followed exactly can be carried on indefinitely to juggle. Unfortunately, with juggling (as with following
God's principles in life) it is not the knowing, but the doing that proves to be the problem to keeping it going correct.
We did a relay event. Then some time rock climbing (where we tried to get pictures
of the climbers). Ice cream sculting has become an art form at meals.
