Ongoing Goals:

· Improve teacher content knowledge

· Participate in classroom activities as your students would

· Provide new instructional materials and methods

· Implement cooperative learning activities in your classroom to increase student motivation

· Collaborate with other teachers

· Analyze student performance data

· Creating lessons aligned with GLEs

· Assessing student learning through common benchmark assessment

· Identifying websites with lesson plan ideas, useful virtual manipulatives, or useful interactive activities

New Goals:

· Creating lessons aligned with new GLEs and Depth of Knowledge

· Backward Design for effective learning

· Assessing student learning through formative assessments

· Provide research-based information applicable to the classroom

through a book study – Understanding By Design or Understanding and Teaching Elementary Mathematics
